Social Zoom Night – Sunday 21st January 2024
After the success of the Social night in September we thought we would hold another one. As January is normally a quiet month and the nights are dark we are hoping many more people can attend this time. We are currently thinking of 19:30 – 21:30 this will be confirmed nearer the time with more information being provided.

A “huge” thank you to everyone that attended, we had a good chat about many topics a few being; genetics, hauliers, shows, online sale, registrations, the breed itself and upbreds.
Where to see and talk about Icelandic Sheep
Most Icelandic Sheep breeders are more than happy to have you come and look at their animals and chat about them for ages, so please contact any breeder individually to arrange a time that suits.
There’s also lots of our members who take their sheep out to shows and events around the country. If there’s a particular event your attending and would like to know if there will be any Icelandic’s present please get in touch and we can ask our members.
Notice of AGM
The next AGM will be on the 4th October 2024 at 19:30. Due to our geographic spread we hold meetings via online conferencing software, lots of us have very slow internet connections so for some it’s just audio. We would love as many members as possible to take part; to join in all you need to do is send Henry (the flockbook Secretary) an email with you flock name saying that you would like to be there and he will add your email to the list. It would be good if you could do this well before the meeting time. then about 30 minutes before the meeting you will get an email invitation to the chat room. This email often seems to end up in people’s spam folder so have a good look for it! Once you have found it, click on the link All you need is an internet connection and you can take part wherever you are in the country.
