ISBOBI is committed to respecting your privacy. If you hear from us we will
aim to be respectful, and to be contacting you about something relevant and
appropriate.
This policy statement, which may be amended from time to time, sets out the
basis on which information which we collect from you may be used.
This may include your name address and contact details supplied to the
group. For all sheep registrations and transfers of ownership your name
and address will be recorded on our database together with sheep details.
These details may also be requested by other Icelandic breed societies, Defra,
and enforcement bodies.
In addition to data held on Icelandic sheep, their breeders and owners’ details
will be published in the group’a flock books and pedigree information made
available on the website for the group, members pages. Limited additional
information may be included on the website if requested by Members if
requested by the individual in writing by e mail or letter.
Membership details will be recorded on our database to enable the group to
serve its members and it will hold the minimum amount of information
required to carry out its obligations.
